The imagine Football Fiesta is more than just organising a football match; it aims to support the closing of gaps in sustainability goals and further promotion of a sense of community.
This was said by imagine Sdn Bhd Chairperson Noorsurainah binti Haji Tengah in a welcoming speech at the welcoming dinner reception for the English Premiere League (EPL) Legends at Indera Samudra Grand Hall, The Empire Brunei on Monday.
“In a world where we see a rise in extremism, isolation and violence, we hope (that) through this small effort, we would have managed to bring everyone together through our love for football as a sport that unites our nation,” she said.
