Local grassroots football development programme Projek Ikan Pusu (PIP) prioritised the need for children to enjoy free access to training opportunities as the future of the country’s football.
The call was highlighted following the return of training sessions for all PIP players since the Ramadhan break.
PIP Assistant Head Coach Aldy bin Haji Omar said, “We do not wish to see any child deprived of quality football training because his parents cannot afford to pay the monthly fees.”
He added, “Every one of us in PIP including the coaches, committee members, players, parents, and supporters are doing this for ‘free’ for Brunei’s football future.”
