The Ministry of Finance and Economy (MoFE) through the Treasury Department has initiated a number of actions to tackle challenges encountered during the implementation of TAFIS 2.0, said the ministry in a statement on Saturday.
The ministry said that TAFIS 2.0, a new accounting and payment system built on the SAP platform, was implemented in April 1 to coincide with the start of the financial year 2024/2025.
“As with any implementation of a new system, it is expected that some issues and challenges may arise during the system stabilisation period,” said the ministry.
