Two individuals were sentenced to jail and caning for a series of housebreakings and theft offences on Wednesday.
Muhammad Aiman bin Morni, 26, was sentenced to three years’ jail and two strokes of the cane while Mohd Saiful Rizal bin Bujang, 36, was sentenced to six years’ jail with four strokes of the cane.
Mohd Saiful Rizal along with two accomplices, conspired to break into a residence in Kuala Belait on May 2, according to Prosecutors Radin Wafri bin Radin Sufri and Kamal Ariffin bin Ismail.
