A full dress rehearsal was conducted yesterday in Tutong District in preparation for the get-together ceremony on July 23, in conjunction with His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 78th birthday celebration.

Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar and Minister of Home Affairs Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman were present at the rehearsal at Tutong District Civic Centre Complex as co-chairs of the national committee for His Majesty’s 78th birthday celebration.

Permanent secretaries, deputy permanent secretaries and acting Tutong District officer as well as committee members for His Majesty’s 78th birthday celebration in Tutong District were also present.

Legislative Council member Yang Berhormat Abdul Aziz bin Haji Hamdan congratulated the performers for their near perfect performance but noted that there was still room for improvement.
