Brunei Darussalam will celebrate the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) with a grand assembly and procession on September 16.
The celebration will be held simultaneously in the four districts with the main focus at Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien at 7am.
In Belait District, it will take place at the Municipal Hall; in Tutong District, the field of Community Hall Complex and in Temburong District, at the field of Community Hall Complex.
The rehearsal for the Brunei-Muara District will be held on September 12.
The celebration, themed ‘Memelihara Akal Berpandukan Sunnah Rasulullah Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam’, is organised jointly by the Ministry of Reigious Affairs, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications, as well as Yayasan Sultan Haji Hasssanal Bolkiah. – Azlan Othman
