Malaysian trio of brothers group KRU reunited on stage during the first concert of the GenKRU series, which also marked their comeback after a seven-year hiatus from the entertainment scene.

KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama) – Following the overwhelming response to the GenKRU Concert, organiser Icon Entertainment has announced the addition of another concert night, scheduled to take place on Sunday, May 11.

Icon Entertainment, in a statement, said the decision to hold a fourth concert night was made after tickets for the first three nights — May 3, 4, and 10 — sold out in less than an hour after sales opened.

The choice of May 11 was seen as timely, coinciding with the public holiday for Wesak Day on May 12, providing more fans the opportunity to attend the show.

“This decision was made after careful consideration of many factors, including the fact that Monday is a public holiday and won’t inconvenience fans. Therefore, we’re adding another concert night on May 11.

“We also received numerous requests from fans eager to attend again, saying they didn’t get enough of the experience the first time,” said Datuk Norman Abdul Halim in the statement.

Tickets for the fourth night of the GenKRU Concert will go on sale today starting at 1 pm.
