(ANN/THE KOREA HERALD) – Taeyong of NCT is set to make his return as a solo artiste, according to a local media report on Friday.
The K-pop star is preparing to release a digital single next month, followed by his first full-length studio album in May. The upcoming single will not serve as a prerelease for the album, a move that departs from the common promotional approach in the K-pop industry.
Taeyong previously made his solo debut with the EP Shalala in June 2023, and expanded his musical range with a second EP, Tap, released in February 2024. He later enlisted for mandatory military service, serving in the Navy marching band.
Less than a month after completing his service, the NCT leader returned to the stage with a two-day solo concert in Seoul, marking the start of a six-city Asia tour. The tour is set to continue in Bangkok over the weekend.
