A total of 455 recipients were conferred the Pingat Indah Kerja Baik (P.I.K.B.) on the second day of the investiture ceremony held at the Balai Singgahsana Indera Kenchana, Istana Nurul Iman on Thursday.

The State honorary medals were bestowed in conjunction with the 79th birthday celebration of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.

Representing His Majesty at the ceremony was His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, The Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office.

Also in attendance were His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Malik and His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Mateen.

The ceremony concluded with a Doa Selamat recited by Chief Syar’ie Judge Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Awang Haji Salim bin Haji Besar.

Also present were Pengiran-Pengiran Cheteria, Cabinet Ministers, members of the Privy Council, deputy ministers, diplomats, permanent secretaries, deputy permanent secretaries and heads of departments. – Lyna Mohammad
