nei Shell Petroleum Company Sdn Bhd (BSP) and Jerudong Park Medical Centre Sdn Bhd (JPMC) signed three agreements at Panaga Health yesterday relating to the planned transition of the operation and management of Panaga Health to JPMC.
Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar, who serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Executive Director of JPMC, witnessed the signing ceremony.
Signing on behalf of JPMC was Senior Investment Manager at Darussalam Assets Sdn Bhd Dayangku Hajah Dewi Sarwani binti Pengiran Haji Sarpuddin, in her capacity as Board Member of JPMC, with Chief Medical Officer of JPMC Dr Haji Muhammad Syafiq bin Abdullah as witness.
Meanwhile, representing BSP was Managing Director of BSP Johan Atema, accompanied by Integrated Facilities Management Manager of BSP Mazlina Haji Ma’awiah as witness.
The transition aims to ensure the continued provision of healthcare services to existing users and the wider community, in line with Brunei Vision 2035.
Johan Atema said, “This transfer is not simply about handing over operations. It is about ensuring that the value we have created continues to thrive, and that our people and expertise find a new home where they can contribute to an even greater future.”
The operational transition is expected to be completed by Q1 2027.
