The Ministry of Health (MoH) announced that starting on Wednesday, the daily COVID-19 case numbers and total active cases will not be shared with the public due to Brunei being in the Endemic Phase.
This was announced by the MoH during daily updates on various platforms on Wednesday.
The ministry said there is one case in Category 5 needing treatment in the intensive care unit and one patient in Category 4 requiring respiratory assistance and under close monitoring.
Some 505 cases were declared recovered on Wednesday bringing the total number of recoveries to 154,392.
Meanwhile, the coverage rate of COVID-19 vaccination for children aged five to 11 with two shots of vaccine is 72.2 per cent. The rate for Brunei population with three doses is at 72.5 per cent.
