Two COVID-19 cases passed away over the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health (MoH) announced in its daily statement on Friday.

 

One Category 5 patient is being treated at the intensive care unit (ICU), while five Category 4 cases are receiving respiratory assistance and under close monitoring.

 

The COVID-19 vaccination coverage rate continues to climb, with 73.6 per cent of the populace having received the third dose, while 3.8 per cent have been administered the fourth dose.

 

A total of 76.6 per cent of children aged five to 11 have been double dosed, while 50.8 per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 years have received the third dose. Additionally, 1,415 recoveries were recorded on Friday, bringing the number of recovered cases to 169,051.

 

Meanwhile, the MoH has revised its operation hours at the Swab Centre Sports Complex at Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital.

 

Operating hours for Hari Raya Aidiladha on July 10 and His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s birthday on July 15 will be from 2pm to 8pm.
