A local man lost his life in an accident at Jalan Serasa on Thursday.
After receiving an emergency report, the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) found the man unconscious inside his vehicle, believed to have crashed with another vehicle.
The other vehicle was found in a ditch on the side of the road, and the driver unscathed.
Paramedics inspected the unconscious driver and confirmed he had passed away.
Initial investigations revealed that the 69-year-old was on his way home when tragedy struck.
The RBPF is currently investigating the cause of the accident.
The RBPF also reminded road users to stay alert when driving, comply with the speed limit, wear seat belts and keep calm on the road.
