ANN/THE JAPAN NEWS – A colony of Humboldt penguins clad in miniature Halloween attire is drawing crowds at a leisure resort in Kushima, Miyazaki Prefecture, charming guests with their endearing, waddling strides.
The seasonal attraction runs until the end of October at Shibushi Bay Daikoku Dolphin Land, having launched earlier this month to enliven the festivities.
Each afternoon at 2pm, approximately five penguins step out adorned in pumpkin-themed outfits. Starting from a designated gate, the birds navigate a purpose-built obstacle course to complete a full circuit before spectators.
